See's Candy

When I was a kid and lived in California See's Candies lollypops were one of my most beloved treats. The California based chocolate and candy company has retail stores in most Western states, but if you live east of the Mississippi like I do, you can take advantage of their online ordering system and still enjoy the delicious variety of goodies See's has to offer.

All of See's chocolates are made with quality Guittard Chocolate and homemade fillings and centers that literally melt in your mouth. Pictured below is my favorite chocolate variety that See's Candies puts together, the Dark Chocolate Bordeaux, a brown sugar buttercream filling enrobed in dark chocolate and covered in chocolate sprinkles. I was sad there was only one in the whole box!

See's chocolates are addictive and the brand is so well-known for its quality that See's chocolates are an excellent way to make a fundraiser just a little sweeter. If I saw any organization holding a See's candy fundraiser by offering me candy bar or lollypops I wouldn't be able to pass buy without buying something. I know I'm not alone.

I adore See's. I so a lot of mail order from them. I don't know why they aren't in the northeast.

Hi!!! Have you blogged about any Center City dessert places or frozen yogurt stops? I am looking for a cool new place!

I've seen See's kiosks in King of Prussia, but maybe that's just for the holidays? Anyway, nothing like the big stores on the West Coast.

Oh man, I lived in California for 6 years and became addicted to their lollypops! I moved to Philadelphia and completely forgot about those delicious treats from the chocolate gods! Yummmmmmmmm

Anonymous - I was thinking about ordering a box of lollypops to save for special treats. We should split a box so my blood sugar doesn't spike beyond belief.

That is my same favorite See's candy with the sprinkles, though I never knew the name. Followed closely by the caramel/marshmallow covered in dark chocolate. I could eat a whole pound of just those two. We recently moved from the west to the east so imagine my thrill to discover my daughter's school does a See's fundraiser every December. Mmm...

On a more general note, my own baking obsession is starting to take over my personal blog so I'm about to divide and start a separate baking blog for my own therapy. Great to know I'm not alone - love your lovely thing here.
