The Philadelphia International Flower Show started this past Sunday and runs until March 7th. If you're in the city for the show and work up any sort of appetite, the best place to satiate your hunger is around the corner from the convention center at Reading Terminal Market. With dozens of vendors serving up local and regional favorites as well as extended hours during the week of the Flower Show, Reading Terminal Market is the best choice for a meal or snack.
My creation
One of the best choices in the market to satisfy your sweet tooth is The Flying Monkey Patisserie*. In the spirit of the Flower Show, The Flying Monkey is baking and frosting cupcakes with floral themes. If you're a fan of flowers and frosting you'll be guaranteed to find something you'll love.
Violet Lavender

If flower flavors aren't exactly your thing, The Flying Monkey offers a variety of other cupcake flavor combinations from Vanilla and Chocolate to Chai Tea and Lemon-Blackberry. If cake isn't your favorite, brownies and bars are available in unique flavors such as Orange Brownies or Santa Fe Brownies stuffed with cinnamon, cayenne and cocoa nibs.

I think that Philadelphia Flower Show is one of the largest themed international shows where you can experience a heady dose of spring — just when it’s most needed.
